The R53 MINI Cooper S has always been plagued with slow throttle response. One of the reasons for this problem is down to the weight of the stock crank pulley. Available in both 0% and 2% the Alta Lightened Crank Pulley is the perfect solution to remove a large amount of this weight whilst also increasing performance. The stock crank pulley weighs just over 1KG, which is extremely heavy for it's size. The Alta Crank Pulley weigh's in at just 0.3KG making it over twice as light. This weight difference may not sound a lot thinking in terms of if you removed 0.7KG from the inside of your MINI. However, as this is a rotating mass attached to the crank, removing that 0.7KG actually has the same effect as removing 28KG from your car!. This weight loss will increase throttle response and really make your MINI feel like it's come to life. The benefits don't just stop there. The Alta Crank Pulley is a once piece design, therefore it eliminates the common problem owners face of their two piece crank pulley falling apart and requiring replacement. There is also a +2% overdrive option available. This effectively increases your pulley size by 2% (15% Supercharger pulley is then equivalent to 17%). If you already have a 15% or 17% pulley and are looking for a little more power, this is the perfect upgrade for you. Refunds are available within 7 days after delivery for products that are unused and are in original packaging. Special order goods are non-refundable. Products that are damaged in transit to or from the customer can be refunded up to 14 days after the product has been delivered. Products returned to us in imperfect, non-resalable condition will not qualify for refund. Products that are faulty due to manufacturing process are refundable under the manufacturers' warranty for a limited time specified in the manufacturer's terms and conditions. These do not apply if the product has been fitted incorrectly or mis-used, motorsport use could further reduce the manufacturer's warranty.
